Why Family Giving Matters

Public funding covers only the basics. The PS 87 Parents Association helps bridge the gap - ensuring our children have access to the people, programs, and resources that make our children’s school experience extraordinary.​​

What Your Gift Supports:

  • Kindergarten assistants

  • Literacy and math intervention

  • Enrichment programs including art, dance, field trips, assemblies, and wellness initiatives

  • Recess coaches

  • Teacher professional development

  • Comprehensive library collection and a full-time librarian

  • Fully equipped computer lab

The suggested gift is $1,187 per child, but gifts of any size are deeply appreciated. Our goal is 100% family participation.
